Treasurer

For the Treasurer: every euro in its place

Sodalis keeps the lodge's dues, the widow's mite, agape amounts and expense claims for the Treasurer. He sees who is up to date and what remains to be collected, and passes on his figures without copying them out.

The season's dues

A call at the start of the season creates pending dues for each ticked brother, with a common or individual amount. Payments are marked in one click, with their date and method.

Each brother's account shows what is owed, paid and outstanding, season after season: arrears are not lost. Several dues can be marked paid at once, or set back to pending, and dues called by mistake can be removed.

The widow's mite and agapes

The widow's mite is entered meeting by meeting; Sodalis flags forgotten meetings and calculates the average per meeting and the average gift per brother present. Agapes calculate the amount collected from the amounts recorded at registration.

Expense claims

A brother submits his claim with a photo of the receipt; artificial intelligence can read its details. The Treasurer approves or rejects it, downloads the receipt in one click, and an approved claim can restock the lodge's inventory.

Each claim opens in detail, with the receipt shown large, so the decision is taken with the document in front of you.

Reporting

The Statistics view follows the collection rate, receipts by month, payment methods, the amounts applied and the widow's mite compared with the previous season. The officers' dashboard reminds everyone of pending dues.

The list of dues exports to CSV for the Treasurer's report or the handover to a successor. Sodalis does not keep the lodge's general accounts: dues, widow's mite and agapes remain separate flows, with no combined balance.

Your questions

Can the brethren pay online?

Not yet: online payment of dues and agapes is in preparation. Today the Treasurer records each payment with its date and method.

Can dues be exported to a spreadsheet?

Yes. The displayed list exports to CSV, readable directly in Excel.

How do I find a brother's arrears?

Open his account from the dues table: it gathers his dues for every season, with the total owed, paid and outstanding.

Does the Treasurer have access to the other modules?

Yes, with the Officer role: it opens the whole of the lodge's management except changing settings and roles, which is reserved to administrators. He sees candidate files, but of the investigations only their progress.
